On February 14 I placed an order for a Taylor 2012 110 Dreadnought. The website stated it would be available February 20. I thought, I can wait a week, because I got a great deal with the discounts for that week. So after receiving no information, I called on February 21 to check on my order. I told the rep, what was going on and he was checking on it for me, I told him I had been waiting for 40 years to get a Taylor (meaning a good quality guitar). The customer service rep. Could not find the guitar which I had ordered but said they would be available in April.By the tone of my voice, he knew I was disappointed, so he said you've been waiting 40 years, you can wait a little longer. NOT THE POINT!!! I told him I was sure there was probably little to no difference in the 2011 model so I could just switch and get that one instead. He replied he could just give me the money back and he would locate me one at one of the stores. ONCE AGAIN, NOT THE POINT!!! If I got a refund and went to the store, it would cost about $150.00 more than what I paid online! He asked if I had called Taylor... Really Dude! Again, not the point!!! I don't complain to the cow if I get a bad burger at a restaurant, I talk to the person who sold it to me. After everything I had seen on television about Guitar Center, I thought, "wow this must be a great place." Unfortunately, I didn't look for reviews first, so I am writing this to help those who may want to use Guitar Center in the future.
