I received a letter in the mail claiming that I was a mega lottery winner. I also received a check in the amount of 3980.00 and I was told to cash it and then pay the tax amount of $1995.00 and then they would release my $146,000 balance. The check is from Industrial Supply inc. From the hancock bank of alabama. All that I did was call them from my cell phone, I didn't release any information of any kind. I also refused to give my number. So I don't think they could get any information, but wanted to make sure I was covered.
