Bankers Life and Casuality Job is a scam!

I was hired as a Life Insurance Agent and took the job because they told me I never had to pay for leads and that these leads were fresh-new and the clients wanted the information. Then when I got there I ended up paying $10.00 per lead, so I thought ok, I'm a good sales person I'll close at least some of them. Then I learned Colonial Penn had already sent them the information and they didn't buy, so now I could sell them some over priced insurance with a very low face value. I thought I was hired by a manager who had 15 years experience in Sales, much to my surprize she was just a recruiter, now how was she ever going to help me with anything if she didn't know anything about the products to begin with. She lied almost constantly, the leads were at least 75 days old and when I went to call them seemed like all of them were on the Do Not Call list. Then in order to get a hold of these clients they wanted me to door knock. The training was mis leading no where did they say that an agent has to pay to take another course and exam in order to sell long term care insurance. Be very wary of this company, they Lie about everything. I worked there for 4 weeks made no money, then they wanted me to travel down to Campbell for a semariar from an experienced Telemarketer who was going to teach me how to lie in order to call people and set appointments. What a joke. Do Not listen to their lies. They are scam artists!
