Rec'd letter (post marked from Canada) with congratulations that I was *hired* as a *Mystery Shopper*, as well as a check for about $1,500 with instruction to deposit it into my account, keep $330 for salary, wire $1,100 via Western Union ($990 plus $90 for transfer fees) and use the remainder for mystery shopping, after which I was to fill out a form and mail it back, but there was no return address... Duh...

Andrew Yamada is the name of the contact person in the letter but it's probably fake, BUT, his phone # is 1-298-892-4702 and email address is infor@consumershost.com. I'm sure he'd love to hear from anyone:-).

The bank name on the check does not exist; I'm going to call them on Monday and let them know they're involved with a scam.

Stay away from these folks... But don't stop smiling.
