Rev. Sammie J. Edwards and his wife, Shawntara are professional tenants that know how to use the system. They pretend to be honest Christians (he's a minister), but they'll lie to your face and steal from you. He'll even threaten violence if you try to stand up to him. The Edwards like to live above their means but are unwilling to actually pay for the goods and services that they use.
Sammie and Shawntara got into my rental under false pretenses. He used an alias to cover up the fact that he's a petty criminal that has been arrested for unemployment fraud and check fraud. He used friends to pretend to be his previous landlord. Of course, he needed to move in immediately so I didn't have much chance to check him out. That's how he operates.

Sammie and Shawntara Edwards signed a one year lease. But stopped paying after 2 months. They had to be legally evicted because they would not leave on their own. I am now owed thousands of dollars in unpaid rent. Plus, they left the house and yard a mess. Somehow, they also felt entitled to steal the wood cabinets, shelves, furniture, and curtains. They left the carpets, sinks, and walls a mess. There were 84 holes left in the walls. They claim that we misunderstood them and were disrespectful because we got tired of hearing excuses and asked them to either pay or move out.

Do not do business with Sammie or Shawntara Edwards. They will rob you without any concern of how that effects you.
