Noticed an ad on Kijiji for a "2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 Z-71 Pickup Truck" for $3000. I contacted the seller right away to find out why the truck was so cheap and Caroline Bradt (c. Bradt72gmail.com) returned my email with the information that she got the truck in her divorce settlement and didn't need it. She sent me a photobucket link containing over 30 pictures of the truck, including a burn on the passenger seat. I requested a VIN number from her and she gave it to me after 2 requests. The VIN number in fact matched the pictures and details of the Truck, as I was able to find out the options on the vehicle through the Manufacturer.

I did do a Carproof on the unit and found out it had been sold at an auction in North Dakota at the beginning of this month, which didn't match Carolyn's story, and that there is an outstanding lien on the unit.

Carolyn informed me that she had dropped the truck off at BuyTradeSell Trading Post in Whitehorse YK. I googled the company and couldn't find any complaints, so continued with the registration process. I recieved an email back from Andrew Nielsen at payments@buytradeselltradingpost.com with information on how the process worked. He sent me a link to the website that had my invoice on it requesting that send two payments of $1500 each by Western Union to Two separate BuyTradeSell Trading Post Verified Agents: Atleeh Charse #35 Firs Avenue London, N11 3N3, United Kingdon, and Gerel Palla, #35 Fir Avenue London, N11 3N3, United Kingdon. Andrew said 2 payments were requested to speed up the process of verifying fund. He gave the 3 faxes to verify payments 1 (678) 928-0200,1 (678) 696-4840,1 (678) 696-4845.

Andrew assured me that after receiving payment the truck would be shipped to me from Whitehorse and will arrive in 4 days, shipping included in the price I paid for the truck.

However I did one last search of "Caroline Bradt Scam" on google and this link showed up. Same people, money and info, different vehicle. Http://usacomplaints.com/report/view/133320/SellTradeBuy-Trading-Post-Complaint-133320-for-$3,000.00

Luckily I have not sent my money to them. Bad people in this world.
