Was on the Readers Digest site and was further directed to 3 sites to test one of the 3 products offered. IVORYWHITE was one of the sites and I was assured by Ms Becky that the only charge to me would be $1.03. Confirmation # 21207051131524667. The only condition was that I had to cancel all future shipments with 8 day of receipt of the shipment. The shipment was mailed on 09JUL12, received at my residence on 19JUL12 and cancelled by me on 20JUL12 at 10:40am. Automated Cancellation confirmation No 11905568 confirming that there would no further charges and this was followed up by e-mail. On receipt of my Visa Credit Card statement observed that I had been charged $81.92. Immediately called IVORYWHITE and spone to Mr. Evans ID #208 on 23JUL12 who informed me that the charge was correct as I did not cancel with the specified time and could not be convinced otherwise. He made several offers of refunds: Alternatively that I return the item and receive $60.00 Credit. He stated that it would cost me $15.00 for postage. Cancel the order and receive $45.00 refund. He refused to permit me to speak to his Supervisor Ms Christina. At this point I had felt that I had been taken by who I thought I was dealing with a very reputable company, also endorsed by Readers Digest. Seemed to have had no alternate other than taking a credit for $45.00 with notice that I was going to take legal action. I am a senior citizen and I have reported this incident to Visa Credit Card.
