After 6-month of being bombarded with spam email by affiliate partners of Chad Mureta (Owner of App Empire) such as Michael Rasmussen, Frank Lucas of Mobil Money Machines of which Chad Mureta was associated with and had access to files with my email address which was used to promote Chad Mureta new company App Empire.
Chad Mureta would constantly make statements like “you can run your own business designing and marketing apps because you don’t need a lot of money, skill, or knowledge to begin. All you need is a mobile phone and a desire to succeed stating they were making $250,000 per month.
I thought this was too good to true. There was no published price in any of the emails being sent, to find out the cost of course you had to click on the order button. The cost to order the course was $1,983.00 with a 30-day money guarantee. At that time the thinking is, you can make that back fast. I placed the order for the course on 6/8; the bank draft took place on June 11. I sent a request to cancel on July 12. I was told that they would not refund my money because my request was past the 30-day period. (By 1-day!)
One of the main reasons for canceling is when I realized that after designing an app, you needed to hire a Programmer to code the app and make it work. The cost for doing this could be from $1,500 to $10,000 depending on the app. The app could be a dud, and you lose. None of this was brought up prior to signing up.
So the miss-information: “you can run your own business designing and marketing apps because you don’t need a lot of money, skill, or knowledge (the course cost $1,983.00) to begin. All you need is a mobile phone and a desire to succeed…not true.
