My mobile phone bill had a Third Party Purchases component of $50.00. Telstra weren't much help but they gave me a number to text the word "STOP" to cancel this so called subscription. This was done after questioning my mobile number several times and I later received a sms indicating the cancellation went through. I am not sure how I became a subscriber. I am unemployed and there is no way I would have purchased such a thing. Also, what baffles me is that on the Telstra bill, there are 10 amounts of $5.00 however they have doubled up the costs i.E. There are 2 amounts at exactly the same time on the same day for 10 days... Go figure! I wasn't even in Sydney on 2 of the so called days. I am now in the process of trying to get a refund from Waala which I shouldn't have to do because I didn't authorise it. What a scam!!
