Miscellaneous

I was on Facebook and clicked on celebrities exposed on may 26th. I was sent a pin to my cell number so i put in the pin number.

Next i was sent a subscription text message with the option to stop. Then two more came through. I replied to all three with the stop command.

Two months later on my cell bill was three $9.99 charges. I called the first one which was MobileCare on the bill and customer service rep told me charges could not be reversed. I said i wanted to talk to her supervisor. She said ok but the chargers would remain, i told her that was fine, i would wait. She comes back about three minutes later and says her supervisor was on another line and would not be able to talk to me and was able to get her bosses attention but still could not reverse the charges. I told her again, i will wait.

Three minutes or so later she said this one time, since i stopped the charges immediately she would be able to send me a check to my address in the next 4 weeks.

I called the next number on my cell bill and to my surprise it was the same company. The next rep i talked to said to send my bill by email with the charges that i would like to dispute.

I guess i will see in the next forty eight hours if i will get my money back.

Not hopeful.
