I received a bill stating that my company owes $627.39. When I called to inquire about it the representative played back a recording with my voice saying yes to questions I had never been asked! I recall the conversation and there were questions that I was asked to which I replied "yes" and "no". BUT I AM NOT AUTHORIZED to make any purchases on behalf of the company and was warned about this scam so I am very careful about what I say on the phone and I was not told i was making a purchase they were simply collecting data.
Can someone please let me know how we can prevent these people from ruining our credit with their fraudulent act!
