In May, I sent for the "free" sample. After receiving it noting that the ingredients included caffeine, I attempted to call and make sure that I was sent no more. However, I could not find the contact information I needed.
Several days later, I received a box in the mail with more pills. I did not open the bottles, but I shipped the pills back with a letter that I had not ordered more nor did I want what had already been sent. I had already paid for the postage with the "free trial" offer. My heart cannot tolerate caffeine and it gives me migraine headaches, which I explained in the letter.
When I opened my credit card statement at the end of June, there was a charge for $88.94 with a transaction date of May 28th — long after the pills had been returned.
When I have tried to call, I get a recording that tells me that the voice messaging system is full and to "please call back later, " I can imagine the voice mail is full. They must be out in their yacht!
There was absolutely no time for a response between receiving the trial offer and being billed. Nor was there an opportunity to request more; it was just sent. This is business policy based on greed, not providing something beneficial to a customer. It is dangerous to provide a harmful substance to a customer, and reckless to continue charging for it.
