This happened to my 80 yr old mother in law. Her name was spelt wrong and the check number was in the wrong order. She did not talk to anyone and we have yet to find out how they got her account number. This is TERRIBLE, how could this happen to our seniors? Something needs to be done about this ASAP. They are struggling enough, without someone taking the little bennifits they get away. I am so upset by this and hope to spread the word, to protect our loved ones from this kind of crap.
