I got a telemarketing call from a woman who said I won a $100.00 Walmart gift card due to a prior survey I completed. I just needed to go online to claim it. She stated that there was nothing she was trying to sell me. Funny thing is, I rarely complete surveys. I was intrigued to find out more about the scam. Once she had me on the waka network website at the personal information screen, I stopped, and used my breather time to instead quick-research the internet. I found this scambook site among others, politely told the lady I was not interested (no response), and then hung up the phone. I am on all the do-not-call lists (I do that ever y year) but these damn telemarketers are worse than ever. They think we are all rubes. They insult our intelligence.
