My grandmother received a phone call about six months ago asking if her computer was having issues. She said it had been running really slow. She was happy to pay $169 for a man with an Indian accent to have access to her computer to fix it. The man called the house today and told her he wanted to refund her money and she should enter her credit card information on the form he put on her computer. When she disagreed, he went on her computer and deleted her entire harddrive of documents, family photos, accounts... Everything.
