Bret Counsel, at phone number (714) 288-0151 and operating under www.helpfulinternet.net will not answer phone calls, etc. I admit I was foolish in listening to his sales pitch on how his business could really boost my on-line business. I later found out from my current hosting and marketing company that he has been performing this type of activity for years and just keeps changing business names when caught. When I last communicated with him via e-mail informing him of this, he said they must be confusing him with some other Bret Counsel. I was foolish enough to pay via check and not credit card, so I have no recourse to get my money back. He has not responded to my demands for a refund, won't answer the phone anymore, and is probably still hitting up other folks until he is stopped. I would be really grateful to get my $299 back, although it seemed like a great deal for the services he said he would be able to provide, I cannot afford to lose this money. Help stop this guy for good!!! He is very smart and it is a shame he does not use his talents legitimately.
