Miscellaneous

On May 17, my birthday of all days, I received via email a loan proposal packet from a person who said she was Kimberly Coughlin of EquityOneIncorp. It was a loan proposal for $6,000.00, with an insurance payment in the amount of $650.00 due prior to the loan funding. The packet looked very professional and business-like, which I immediately thought was a legitimate offer. Strangely enough, a few days prior to the EquityOne offer, I received a loan packet EXACTLY like the one from EquityOne, from a company which called themselves McGill Associates Financial. Well, McGill was busted last week for loan scam. Luckily, I have fully researched the EquityOne situation and am so glad I tuned into this web site, and have realized that all my misgivings about this situation are exactly what I thought! How do these people get away with such terrible things?!! There are poor people like me all over that need urgent financial help, and a bogus company rears its ugly head and takes all of our savings and doesn't think a thing about it! Does the real Equity One KNOW about this situation and what's going on? Is there anything they can do to get these people busted??! I'm rather sad I finally found out the truth; now where do I turn for help? Thank you everyone for reading this; I'm glad you're out there, and I found out about this scam before I paid these people any money! Jeffrey Springborg in Minnesota.
