The nyc dept. Of finance is targeting people with out of state plates while they are parked in legal parking spaces and putting different addresses on tickets which are never placed on their windshields so by the time the ticket reaches thier out of state address then being they're in new york and the ticket reaches them it's too late and then they keep adding late fees and when you send proper proof to prove your inocence before judgement is posted they ignore it unless it is certified and threaten you with garnisg your salary and confiscating your car etc. So you pay the money in a way of extortion and I myself and plenty of other people that this has happenned too don't think it's fair to the people with out of state plates I know it's not the dept of finance but their dishonest traffic agents just to make their quota!
