I had some very heavy gold pieces of jewelry so whe my husband dies July 22 I could use the extra money. Gold Max advertised all over and also had an extra 20% for seniors. I told them I wanted them to convert to ouces because I didn't understand pennyweight. They said they couldn;t do that but they finally agreed to give me the pennyweight figures written on ther business The b card, They said they used the federally approved method of weighing and payment. I was suspicious because I had 2 heavy golf mens rings and a heavy gold charm bracelet with7 charms. They gave me a and check for $480.97. The breakdown was 13 DWT 10 Karat gold, 33.5 DWT 14Karat gold and 60.1 DWT 925 (sterling silver) When I got home I called 3 other places and the amounts I got were all $ 1600. Without even mentioning the silver. I called them back but they would not agree to any kind of settlement. (Personal Info Removed) E. Moylan
