A young man came to the door at about 7:30 P.M. He said that he is in a program to help better himself and to learn to be a mentor. He was selling Magazine Sub. And I told him that I did not want any more, so he said that I could choose one and donate it to the Ronald McDonald house. I so agreed and gave him a check. I am now worried that it may have been a scam and that my check will be copied and used to get into my account. I plan to call my bank in the morning and put a stop payment on the check. Is there anything else that I should do???
