I want to report a scam. Last week i recieved a check from a person called dave who claimed to e a photographer for the hello magazine, he said he will send a check which will be to take care of all the expenses of the shoot. He sent a check through fedex and told me to deposit the money in the bank and send 2450 to the designer of the clothes via moneygram. I deposited the check and the bank accepted it and they put the money in my account, i withdrew the money through the counter and sent it. Yesterday the bank calls me and tells me that the check is no good and that i have probably been scammed. On top of that they want their money which i told them i dont have, they are saying if they dont get their money they will have to use a collection agency. Ive told them i am a student and i cant get that kind of money. I have talked to the police and they say that the bank shouldnt have approved the check in the first place and they shouldnt be going after me.
