Jiffy lube Thousand Oaks, CA charged $19.28 in tax instead of $7.74 which was due. They got this amount by adding the labor to the total amount instead of subtracting it to determine the amount that is taxable. They have $265 as taxable when the bill was $172. Computer error or rip off??
