We paid them to assist us with document prep to get our mortgage modified. The agreement said we would get our money back if our bank denied it. They refused to refund the money until the bank denied the modification, and now that we have given them the written denial the company doesn't return calls, the emails come back undeliverable, and we are left with legal action as our only option. The company we first contacted, 1st Choice Document Preparation, claims that they only pre-qualify clients and they have nothing to do with doc prep 123. Both companies are scamming innocent people who are already desperate.
