Received a text saying I'll receive three fun fact text messages per week for $9.99, and would have to call/text a number to stop it. Since I had not initiated that, I just ignored it as spam. After receiving a few of their so called fun facts (stupid things like why flamingos are pink), I checked my AT&T bill to see if I'm actually being charged for them. And there I found being charged $9.99 by a third party called Shaboom Media.

Called AT&T and as soon as I told them about a fraudulent charge on my account, they realized that it's Shaboom Media. They cancelled it, and offered to refund me for charges going back 60 days. Lucky I was, since I was charged just once. So, they credited $9.99 back to my account, and put a block on future mobile purchases altogether.
