Saw a transaction posted in my checking account charging me $34.99 for "loan services" I did not request. I contacted Paymeloans.com per their website instructions to request a refund and was informed it would be refunded within 15 business days. Here we are nearly 6 weeks later and still no refund. Now Paymeloans.com website doesn't even work and they seem to have disappeared. I have contacted my bank to see what they can do to refund this unauthorized transaction. I had the same thing happen to me with Avanix as well. I hope my bank understands the situation and helps me out. I asked them to "flag" these companies in their system if they could to protect other customers as well. Companies should not be able to "steal" like this without steep penalties!!
