I logged into my bank account this morning to find a ACH hold on my account from this company for $31.96. I have never heard of this company. I Googled the name and found that this is some type of loan company. I immediately sent them an email stating to reverse the charges. I told them that if I incur an overdraft fee that I will expect that refunded to me. I also stated that if this isn't done immediately that I will be contacting my attorney generals office. I am currently waiting to hear back. I then called my bank and placed a stop payment on this free of charge (Thanks Bank of America!!!). I also filed a claim so that I can be refunded this money and any overdraft fees. Because this was an ACH instead of a direct debit my bank is unable to stop processing. They informed me that it will go through but I will be refunded all fees once they investigate this. The other option they gave me is to close this account and open a new one. I will wait and see if there are any other charges on my account before closing. This is the first time that this has ever happened to me and this is not a good feeling. I work too hard for my money for someone to just come take it from me!!!
