We got a call from this woman named Hinda Joy saying that we qualified for a grant totaling over 600,000 dollars for our fashion jewelry business. Immediately i started researching this company and didn't find much on them. Later in the week she called back saying that our other businesses also qualified for funding. Now this really got me going, how can all our for profit businesses qualify for grant funding? She told us that we needed to group our companies together so we wouldn't have to pay the fees for each company. The fee for two businesses to get funding was close to 12,000 dollars for 1.2 million in funding. Another red flag was in the contract it stated that funding wasn't guaranteed but in conversations she would say that the money was already there waiting on us to send in the checks. If that wasn't guaranteeing funding what is it? This went on for a month and a half with Hinda trying to force us to send them a check for half of the fees so that they could get started with the business plan and the grant funding proposals. She had the nerve to get upset the last time i talked with her because I googled her so called personal cell number (702-245-1563) and it showed it was connected to several grant writing companies that were either out of business or had been taken off the internet. We got a 10 page questionnaire to fill out about our businesses, we told them we needed to see the questionnaire before we would send any money, they didn't want to do this but they did hoping we would send money right after we received the paperwork. To make this long story shorter i told her that Summit Business Consultants was a fraud and we wouldn't do any business with them. After a couple hrs a guy from Summit called to see if we really wanted to cancel our grant funding contract, his name... Elliot Hinden, this guy is Hinda J Hindens brother. I told him yes we are canceling and reporting them as frauds and thieves, he hung the phone up on me as did Hinda earlier when i told her she was a fraud. I tried calling back to finish what i wanted to say but there was nothing but a general messaging system that didn't even state the company name. How can people be so crooked with honest people trying to do business in a professional manner. Hinda Joy Hinden and Elliot Hinden are not people you want to do business with, they are from NY but they both live in Vegas right now.
