Incredibly Disappointed - Lexington KY Merry Maids

I was sucked in at the initial consultation by promises of thorough, top of the line, cleaning service. What a cruel, cruel joke it has been. They've only been to our house twice and both times, I absolutely couldn't believe how terrible of a job they did. The first cleaning was supposed to be the deep cleaning, or a spring cleaning where they clean "top to bottom" using "wet" cloths. Yeah... Not a single ceiling fan was touched, blinds dusty, baseboards dusty, etc. I had a list that filled an entire page of everything they had missed. I called and couldn't hide my frustration. They sent another team out supposedly to do the whole thing over again, but they actually only got just a few of the things they originally missed.

On the second cleaning, I could tell immediately when I walked in the house that they had not vacuumed or mopped the tiled and linoleum floors. I was so pissed. Upon further inspection, one bedroom had not been dusted either. Then I read the paper they left behind saying that the two "special attention" rooms this week were the family room and the kitchen and it stated that they had soaked and cleaned the stove drop pans and wiped down the cabinet facings. I smiled and thought, well that's nice... Until I walked over to the stove and saw that the drip pans hadn't even been touched! They still had crumbs in them. The stove hadn't been wiped at all or the microwave! I seriously could not believe what I was seeing. My husband came home and we had about a 30 minute conversation about how much we hated this whole thing and how for $140 bucks, hell I could do a half ass cleaning every two weeks! Unbelievable. I called and told them they had to come back and finish. The manager I talked to didnt seem too happy and said she had four call ins that day and two people off and how it wasn't my regular team, blah, blah blah. Well, who cares! I don't care if it's snow white and the seven dwarves cleaning, just clean the house! I said, well isn't sweeping and mopping supposed to be done regardless of what team it is? She said well yeah. Oh. My. Gosh. I'm telling you folks, do not use these people. It is a JOKE!!!
