I answered an e-mail to purchase a Cadillac SUV. The seller LT. Susan Swafford, said that she had a company that would take care of the shipping of the car. AutoTrader phoned me, informed me to send the money by Western Union and that this is the only way to transfer the money My trransaction #88024189, (Personal Info Removed) Sally Olson financiai dept. 8453453450 phn. Phishing@autotrader.co.ukThe transaction was to be done 03/26, AutoTraders then asks for insurance money that should have been mentioned in the beginning, I'm informed by Lt. Swafford that she will pay the money, that will be returned, as soon as she gets her check, this would set the sale back until April 26th. I tried to get my money back until that time no one would return my e-mails or my phone calls. Lt. Swafford e-mailed me that all is well, but when told of the problem about the failed contact, I got no answer. These are the places I have been contacting. AutoTraderSafePay@consultant.com
