I recieved a letter saying i was beneficiary of $80,000 and i had to contact them before attempting to cash the check enclosed with the letter in the amount of $2370.78 or all funds would be voided. The number to call was in Canada and the person I was to talk to was John Carter. The chech looks legit. However I chose to google the company first. The account is a real account in Chicago that the check is written on. However it is an apparent scam. Please be leary of any offer like this. If it appears to be too good to believe it generally is.
