Misleading contract

I signed a contract with MWI on the advice of their representative who assured me that I would not be personally liable for goods purchased at a clinic where my name and vet license were necessary to enable them to purchase supplies. Then later MWI sued me, and won by default because I was never properly served and didn't know about the action. I recently called MWI credit Dept and asked anonymously how I could set up an account without being financially liable, and was told the same thing! Beware of MWI!
