Comes to my door, insults me and challenges me to a fight in my front yard!

Still sitting here deciding whether to make a police report.
At about 5pm this evening, a girl knocked on my door and told me she was looking for more people in my neighborhood to receive free carpet cleanings so they could promote their product and services.
The first thing that crossed my mind was that my wife had mentioned the day before that she wanted a sectional rug cleaned and wondered who could do that. So, I tell the girl that I needed to consult my wife about it and I would call her if she had a business card. She had nothing other than a laminated, almost nonsensical ad card with no identifying info and she didn't want to hand it to me to look at. I got her a pen and paper tablet wherein she wrote down her first name and a cell number. No company name. I asked and she meekly said "Kirby OMB (?)".
After closing the door, it began to dawn on me that she had no ID, no permit to solicit. She was selling Kirby vacuums. I called my wife and she and she agreed it was a sales pitch, not what we needed.
I did not return a call to the girl and hoped she would forget me but at 6:15, here she is with her boss, the closer of the deal. I told them that after closing the door with her earlier it had dawned on me that she was selling Kirby vacuums and that after talking with my wife, we were not interested. The man with the girl the said, "What, are we the scum of the earth or something?"
I was shocked at his question which was made with a very defensive expression. I asked him what made him ask such a thing and that I had certainly implied nothing like that. Then I said he should leave and began to close the door. The began a rapid series of three door closings followed by a comment in which I reopened the door to ask what he said. Each time it was mumble about me and he grabbed my flag on the porch and said something about America along with other unintelligible remarks. I heard him say something about me being an idiot as he walked away and I yelled at him to go screw himself. He turned around and told me to come out in the yard and say that as he removed his wristwatch and adjusted his clothing, readying to fight and waving me toward him. I told him I was calling the police and came back in the house. I never went further out my door than two steps.
This guy (said his name was Bob) has some issues and not only sets a bad example for his employees but ruins his company name at the same time. The man scares me.
