A representative by name Anna Davis called me, and she told me that the company which I have time share with is affliated with RCI and since I bought my time share within the last two years, I'm qualified for 12 weeks of vacation in RCI which will expire by June.
When I said that I will not be able to use my vacation, she told me that I can rent off my vacation and it would only cost $ 149/week and they would rent it off and get me a guaranteed price of $1124/week. She also mentioned that they will also bear the 100% renters insurance and the first two weeks of vacation would be tax free.
She mailed me the contract form and the introductory form which asks you to sign the consent. There was a field for Credit Card info too with $ but no value specified infront of dollar.
The whole story made me suspicious as the property which I bought in time share is just $17,000 and if I sell 12 weeks I should be getting 11240 back???
This sounded fishy and I googled the company name and found out the scams... Thank you for all of you who wrote about this company!
