Basil Thompson, Speedrite Bogus Field Sales Job - Sacked With No Wages Omagh

I would like to warn anyone considering working for Basil Thompson of Nutts about Pets in Omagh to steer clear.
I have recently been foolish enough to accept a van sales role with Nutts about Pets which was advertised on Gumtree. The brief was to set up a new sales route for the dog food business around Belfast. Basil advertised a guaranteed weekly wage while establishing the sales route and reiterated this repeatedly throughout the interview. He said it would probably take about a month to establish a profitable sales route as I would be cold calling to shops and businesses to take on the products and that he was happy to back me financially until the route started to make money, on which I would make commission.
I was given a large Transit van to drive without anyone even checking that i had a driving licence and I was set to work without any contract of employment. Four days into the job Basil phoned decided to scrap the whole idea and sent someone to pick up the van. He refuses to pay me for the work done over the four days.
