West Bloomfield Post Office
Extremely rude and unprofessional place of business and management

On Friday, April 6, I went into post office on Daly Rd.in West Bloomfield, Mi to send an overnight package to Battle Creek, Mi. My uncle has been in a Assisted Living home for 6 years and I have always sent his package overnight with no problem. I paid $12.99 overnight fee and my customer copy states the package will be delivered at 3:00 P.M. Just like it always has for the last 6 years. They assured me each time that if the package is not delivered at the time stated you will automatically get a refund because obviously that would be breach of their contract. Well when my uncle informed me that he did not get the package by 3:00 P.M., he was very disappointed. I went back to post office to inform them that the package was not delivered on the designated day, they printed out a delivery sheet and it stated that the business was closed on that day! Really! It's a assisting living home! They were not closed! They gave me a print out of report and I noticed that they delivered the package a 8:39 A.M.! Never had they delivered the package that early in the morning! If I had known they were going to deliver that early, I would have made other arrangements. I asked to speak to the supervisor, Tonya! Very professional, very rude, would not listen, told me straight -face you are not ENTITLED TO A REFUND! I asked her why when the report clearly states that it was delivered at a time I was not aware of. The package was delivered Monday at 10:45 A.M. The services I paid for was not rendered. She hung up in my face! It's not about the $12.99, It's the principal!
