Deceptive Sales Practices

I should have listened to my son when he told me to wait until he came to town to purchase my new Lexus. Unfortunatly I didn't and went to Lexus of South Atlanta to get my dream car, a blue onyx pearl Lexus with a gold package.

My experience turned into a nightmare of lies and deception. My salesman, Les Milons, sold me a black Lexus with the promise that I could "trade out" the car at no additional cost when he found the blue Lexus in the system. Believing that he was a man of his word I didn't get the deal in writing. When he called and said he found the car I was overjoyed.

I came to the dealership and filled out the paperwork, which he said was just a formality.in reality, it was for the purchasing of the second car at a higher price. I told him that wasn't the deal what he promised. This was on a Friday. He promised to get it straightened out on Mon. And he would call. Of course I didn't get the call and called him. After a run around, I contacted one of co-owners and explained my problem. He offered a new deal which ended with me being taken of advantage of again. I ended up purchasing two cars to get the one car I really wanted.

I have written the dealership several letters and they have responsed only once disputing my figures in the amount that I lost because of purchasing two cars. (I should not have had to purchase two cars) When asked what I wanted to make me satisfied with my purchased, I asked for a refund of what they said was my actual out of pocket loss which was far less that my figures. The dealership did not have the decency to reply.

I am sure losing me as a loyal customer means nothing to the dealership. If my being vocal about what happened to me will be a benefit to others, then my experience will not have been in vain.
