Miscellaneous

I have just noticed an amount of £59.94 was taken from my current account on the 6 March. I have not asked them for any help and don't even remember filling in any kind of form giving my personal details and wonder where they could have got mine from. I 'phoned them and was told that I applied for a loan last August and that they had been trying to take this amount from my account at regular intervals since this date and had (in their words) "just got lucky" this time as my bank for some reason had refused to pay the amount before. My bank cannot understand why they have only just managed to take this amount as funds were available so I am now having to go through all my statements to find if they have taken any other monies.initially though my bank will contact them with a standard claims form and await to hear from them with proof that I signed documents for this membership (which I have not). Is there anything you can do to help me as I am now worried that as they have my details they will do the same and sell my details on as well. Surely this is illegal what they have done and need proof of my signature to take any money as anyone can fill in a form online in my name and apply for a loan. I look forward to hearing from you.
