The membership fee was a big rip-off

I felt uncomforatable with Direct Buy insisting that I Pay the membership fee right there and then. If I had known before hand, I would not have gone there without doing my home work first on the company.

It was my first time ever hearing about Direct, I attended the informational seminar. At the seminar they don't allow you to leave and investigate the company. They said if you leave, you can't come back to join later.in the end, I was very impressed with the price discounts, so I paid them the $3600 they asked for. Now I know why they insist on me bring my credit card and two forms of I.D.

They were very much adamant about not letting anyone return to join the club later, if that person leave and did not sign up. They said they do not accept return visitors. Once you leave, you were no longer qualify to sign up at a later date. As a result, I paid for the membership fee, because I was afraid of not being able to get deals on furniture later, since I am in the process of buying a home.

I can't say yet if they do sell quality stuff as they advertised, I will find out in a couple of months when I start to buy items for my new home. My warning to you is: don't go there until you have investigated the company and have made a decision to join. If you pay the membership in full, they discount the membership by $150. The memership fee is $3600. They can also finance the membership fee for you at 17.75% interest rate. The basic minimum downpayment is $710.00. The tax is over $300.00. Good luck to you. I will let you know my experiences later. I thought the membership fee was a big ripp-off.
