Miscellaneous

I booked 4 tickets to Paris from Neuchatel, Switzerland through the site tgv-europe.com. I received only one ticket for a child (worth about 25 dollars) but not the other three adult tickets. Each time I called their service number they gave me evasive answers such as: "the tickets will still arrive"; "the tickets have been sent" (but no proof that they where ever sent); if tickets not received 10 days before departure call back and we'll tell you what the "procedure" will be; (but they are forbidden to tell me the procedure at the present time); if tickets not received 4 days prior to departure, you can "print tickets" at the Geneva railstation". After calling the SNCF french railway office, I was assured that no such possibility exists. TGV-Europe.com is not at all affiliated with the french trains (even though the SNCF logo appears erywhere on their site) and therefore you'd find yourself having to buy new tickets.
The money has been booked on my credit card. The surprising thing is that their online site is a very professional site (expensive to put into place) and there are receptionists on the phone who do sound professional. So perhaps there is an inside job going on at TGV-Europe.com
using the above address. My credit card company is filing a complaint to the bank who booked it and trying to get the money back.
