I was contacted by a Carla Michaels by phone in November and she told me that she was part of a company called The Top Agent and that they were going to be starting a national television campaign, promoting top realtors, starting in January. I decided to meet with her, and after hearing her sales pitch, I paid her $2200, by personal check. Toward the end of January, after receiving no leads, I tried to reach the customer service dept by phone and e-mail, and never received a response. I also received an e-mail in early December from "Carla Michaels", saying that she was leaving the company. I also never received the schedule fot the television commercials that were supposed to run during national sporting events. I realize now that I have been scammed, and they are still doing it, as I just checked their website, and it is still up and running!
