Re: Services not rendererd. I was contacted by the Local Pages of Utah in July and told that they had an opening in their 2011 book as someone had just dropped out. They said I had to act that day if I wanted to put my add in as the book was on it's way to printing. I gave them $210.00 with the understanding that it was going to be printed in July. The balance of my contract was $723.00. Several weeks later I was contacted by the local pages and they said "We have a better spot that just came open.." and would I like to upgrade. After saying no I asked when it was going to be printed. They said maybe in September. I was contacted in the same manner over and over again through Sept. Of 2011 when I tried to cancel but they wouldn't let me as they said I only had 3 days after I signed the original contract to cancel. Very convienient as their wasn't a problem at that time. They continued to contact me in the same manner through Dec. Of 2011. Every time I spoke with them they had bumped the printing of the book out by another several months. The book finally printed in Feb. Of 2012. I didn't contract for the 2012 issue. I want my money back. This was clearly a disceptive way of getting advertisers to contract for their book. Has anyone else had this experience?
