Miscellaneous

So yes, I got the Aftershock book and related newsletters. Early on I canceled the Franklin Prosperity Report by writing cancel on the label and sending it to them. My Visa got charged for this, but then got credited back after about a week. All good there.

Then in early Jan I sent a letter to NewsMax to cancel the remaining 2 newsletters. Nonetheless, they charged my VISA on Jan 25 for Financial Intelligence Report and Jan 27 for Gold Stock Advisor. I called the end of Jan to cancel subscriptions and get my VISA credited. After a week and 1/2 - nothing, so I called again with the same request. Guess what - yep, nothing. So I disputed the charges with my Bank.

I have my money back, but the newsletters keep coming. I just called again and told them to find and delete everything on their system (s) they have for me - good luck with that!

I love how their "reps" respond to these complaints saying all you have to do is call and cancel, and they take this seriously. Well I call (Inappropriate Content Removed). They are up to 4 strikes now, and we will see how many calls it actually takes to get off their list.
