CC Brown Law Firm is a complete rp-off. I contacted them to help me obtain a loan modification for my mortgage. I contacted them in March of "2011" They held my paper work for almost 6 months before submitting it to the lender. The entire time they promised that I qualified for a loan modification. When it was all said and done, the lender sent me paper work for a forebearance plan. Well the forebearance plan was much higher than my original mortgage.cc Brown said that this plan was just temporary and after 3 months, I will get my loan modification.

CC Brown just told me one year later, that I dont qualify for a loan modification because I made too much money. Over this time period, they have collected at least one year of bank statements and pay stubs so they was aware of how much money I made from the beginning of the process. They made sure that they would collect all of their money before submitting my paper work which made me fall even more months behind in my house note. Had they been honest from the beginning and told me that I made too much money, I could have went thru another process with the lender.cc Brown has me in a worse position now than when I first contacted them.

They was not honest thru this process and then I received another phone call from them in late January of "2012" telling me that they forgot to charge me additional fees for the hard work that they had done on my case. I couldnt believe it. They have failed me in every way and was calling me for additional money. I paid them over $5500 and received nothing in return. I was passed from person to person and everybody told me something different. They did not know what they were talking about and would pass the phone from one person to another.

For months, I was told we are about to submit your paper work to the lender. That never happpened until 6 months later. They also gave me the impression that some action had taken place when they had never contacted the lender. They were constantly lying to me. They should return all of my money back because they did nothing for me.

The position they put me and my family in, I could have done that myself. They also had the nerve to tell me, If I wanted to apply for another loan modification, I would have to start the process all over with them and pay the fees again but as for right now I was told, we are finish with you. I feel so bad that I couldnt trust lawyers who supposed to be keeping me and my family off the streets but has really placed us closer to the streests. They need to clsoe this law firm down. I dont care how many people thay have helped, look at how many they have hurt and that's what matters.
