We were contacted by Luxury Capital Group saying they had a business who wanted purchase our timeshare. When they found out that we had two, they sent us contracts (after we had obviously not had enough conversations or checked them out thoroughly enough) for us to sign for the sale of both timeshares.

We sent them our fees that were to be refunded at the time of the sale and kept in contact with them regarding the sales and how things were going.

We were told in January that there was a problem with another time share (in the block of time shares that this company was buying) and that is why ours still had not been sold yet (we were supposed to close at the end of 2011).

I recently spoke with Evan Meadow (the assistant to Peter Morgan who is the VP) and he said they were just waiting on paperwork and they would contact us when it came through. I have always contacted the company at least once a month and they have always called me back with updates on what is going on. No other company that we had worked with ever did that, they just took our money and then we could never get ahold of them again. Of course, everyone always promises that they will get our timeshares sold very soon. This company kept us up to date so we knew they had to be legitimate.

When I called them yesterday, I got some weird recording about Ring Central... The Ring Central number I had dialed is not yet in service.

We feel so stupid... How could we have fallen for yet another scam. Now we aren't sure what to do to try to take legal action against them.

ADVICE: NEVER buy a timeshare and always THOROUGHLY check out the company that you are going to do business with.
