On the My Loan Modification Center blog, they promote their loan modification kit. The text describing the kit implies you are buying sophisticated hardware that will help a self-employed individual calculate his or her Profit and Loss statement (a statement which they say is included but is not) to meet HAMP income guidelines for that particular situation. They actually say you will receive two interactive softwares. What you get is a glorified Excel spreadsheet. Looks like the seller went to a lot of work to prepare a manual/guide to apply for a loan mod, but the software is a total rip off and the primary reason I bought the kit.in addition, these clever folks process your payment immediately and have made it impossible to get in touch with them. The only phone # I could find for Route 66 Consulting Inc (the billing entity) is no longer in service.
