Key stuck in ignition car running

The key is stuck in the ignition and the car wont shut off iv went on line and found hundreds of people having the same problem we vare senirs on a fix income my husband just had hip replacement surgery and they 113. Just to see if it's there fault we don't have the money this problem has hapeen befor it;s call ignition switch default we can't get any help if we were told that this call had this problem i never would have pruchase this car please we need help.
