I was offered work from home job opportunity as a data entry clerk after i was interviewed on yahoo messenger and i was told to buy the software. I was a little suspicious so i refused to buy. However the person who interviewed me proposed that she will check with the department head to see if there is a way the company can send a check. The next day i was told that the department head agreed to send the check. I get 2,100 dollar fake check with an instruction to deposit the it on ATM only, to buy the software from a specific person that is said to be affiliated with the company, and that i use only cash through western union when i place an order for purchase. I was cautious enough to take the check to my bank and take to one of the tellers. I was told to wait for five days until they verify and transfer the fund since they were suspicious. The thing is the scammer was hurrying me into taking action to order the software which i ignored and the check was not deposited since.
