A person by the name Of Mike Collins repeatedly asked to buy a piece of furniture I have listed on Craig's List. The piece is an antique armoire listed for $2000.00.
He insisted on sending me a check plus the amount to use for shipping. I repeat to him on several occassions I do not accept checks for more than the amount of item. On Saturday we received a check for $4800.00 in which he states the price of item plus shipping. I have been in retail a long time and I knew this was not a real check. Please be careful of anything from RCT LLC out of Cincinnati, OH. As of now the check will be ripped up and tossed.
