I worked through a call center that handled customer service calls. The client we worked for was named MDG. Basically dealing with products like CigArrest, Natural Relief for Women, Healthy Living Essentials, and Medicus. Customers who ordered from the order line phone number were told they were getting a 30day supply for only 5.95 shipping with no commitment. I could understand their frustration when they called after 30days or later pissed about a 99.85 or similiar charge on their cc bill or bank statement.
I would have to explain to them that they had a 90day supply with automatic billing every 30days and automatic shipping every 3 months. No matter what was done with that call, just about every customer had a video subscription and a subscription to Healthy Living Essentials that they were not aware of because the first 60days of both of those programs were free. After 60 days, their cc was charged 9.95 each a month.
I was not allowed to cancel these subscriptions unless customer called back months or so down the road wanting to cancel, AGAIN! Their websites do state in the terms that it is a commitment til u call up and cancel but you have to look for it. And you cant cancel Healthy Living Essentials by calling the CigArrest or Natural Relief for Women customer service number... I worked for them for some time and am glad that it is finally over for me. I can sleep at night again.
I would like to help whoever I can. I dont know if the product even works for ya. I do know that your cc will automatically be charged by a computer if you are not careful... Oh, and when u call to cancel your CigArrest, they will offer you a 25% percent discount. If u say no and have been charged for the second month of that 90day supply, they will offer you to drop future charges and future shipments. The only way to get refunded or to avoid future charges is to call them for a return authorization number and return address. The money it costs to return the product is at your expense, not theirs.
