Hi my name is tristan pilot. I tried to sale my guitar and amp through Craigslist for 1500 dollars. I got a reply from the email account alanstewart1000@Gmail.com. The guy said he was a marine engineer out at sea right now, but he wanted to buy it. He said he would send me the money through PayPal and he also said he would send me an additional 500 through PayPal for me to pay his pickup agent to come and pick it up. I got an email from PayPal saying 2,000 dollars is pending to my account but there is a hold on the transfer until I get the 500 dollars to his pickup agent donald paquette. The address of donald paquette is 13 S sherrill st, Anaheim, california 92804. So I sent 500 dollars through western union and the mtcn number for that transfer is 4094434192. Then I got an email from PayPal saying my money will post in 24 hours. It never did post and also I got another email from the guy saying that his pickup agent needs another 700 dollars for insurance. He wanted me to send another 700 dollars through western union then he would send me 700 through paypal. I called paypal to asked them about the transfer. They said there where no pending transfers to my account and that it was a scam. They said they would investigate it and told me to call western union. So i did and they did a report.
